Yes, Ugg boots have been PFAS-free since 2020. 1
Deckers, the parent company of Ugg, does not intentionally add PFAS to its products, and tests for 81 different types of PFAS.
Since 2020, testing has not detected any PFAS in Deckers products, meaning they are considered “PFAS-free”. “Free” in this context means that the level of PFAS is below the lowest detectable limit of the testing equipment, which is 0.01 mg/kg.
Deckers works with third-party laboratories to test for PFAS and ensure the continued absence of PFAS in its products. They also conduct traceability projects, onsite inspections, random testing, and auditing.
